People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all...
People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.
“Distance is not for the fearful, it is for the bold. It’s for those who are willing to spend a lot of time alone in exchange for a little time with the one they love. It’s for those knowing a good thing when they see it, even if they don’t see it nearly enough.”
Looking back on that pictures of us last year really kills me, seeing us laughing, smiling and happy, everything was just so perfect and it pains me to know its not there anymore. We’re definitely not the same people as we were and a lot has changed. But even through it all, I still love you and will always be here for you…. hope you know that.
Oh because I don’t go out to clubs on a weekly basis, and I choose to cover myself up? Wait I’m only 17, but somehow people define me as someone who has more class than you ever will. Have you ever wondered why that might be? Well I know precisely. You turned 18 and went to college, a fucking community college no less and decided you were sooo mature… You’re still there and your almost 20, yet who’s the one still trying to find herself? Who’s the one who strives for attention of any male that’ll give her the time of day? STILL YOU :)
AGE DOES NOT BRING MATURITY
I know who I am, and exactly what I am > I know what I want out of life and I will get just that.
Let me know how far being fake will get you, okay? It’ll be hard waking up each morning and putting the make-up on both those faces :)(:
“Think about love, or hate, or joy, or rage—whatever makes you feel something, makes your palms sweat or your toes curl. Focus on that feeling. When people don’t express themselves, they die one piece at a time. You’d be shocked at how many adults are really dead inside—walking through their days with no idea who they are, just waiting for a heart attack or cancer or a Mack truck to come along and finish the job. It’s the saddest thing I know.”
